Our Progressive Enzyme Resurfacing Facial Series is a three-treatment program designed to gradually increase exfoliation while giving us an opportunity to see exactly how your skin responds along the way.
Using Circadia’s three-phase professional enzyme system, we progress from Cocoa to Raspberry and ultimately Citrus Enzyme treatments to help remove dull surface buildup, encourage cellular turnover, refine the appearance of skin texture and leave your complexion looking brighter and clearer.
Each appointment is only 20 minutes and $45, making this an easy way to introduce professional resurfacing without the downtime associated with a traditional chemical peel.
Why Do We Resurface Progressively?
When it comes to exfoliation, stronger doesn’t automatically mean better.
Different skin types tolerate professional exfoliation differently. If your skin is sensitive, reactive, new to professional treatments or simply hasn’t been exfoliated regularly, jumping immediately into a stronger treatment can be more than your skin needs.
Progressive resurfacing lets us start gently and increase from there.
Instead of guessing how your skin will respond, we get to watch it.
Each treatment gives us information about your skin’s tolerance so we can determine whether you’re ready to move forward, need more time at your current level or would benefit from a different treatment altogether.
The goal is effective exfoliation — not irritated skin.
Three Treatments That Build on Each Other
Your series begins with our gentlest phase and progressively increases as your skin demonstrates that it’s ready.
Phase I — Cocoa Enzyme Mask
This is where we introduce your skin to the resurfacing process and establish how well it tolerates professional enzymatic exfoliation.
Phase II — Raspberry Enzyme Mask
If your skin responds well to Phase I, we progress to our Raspberry Enzyme for a stronger level of exfoliation.
Phase III — Citrus Enzyme Mask
The final phase takes resurfacing another step further, giving us our most advanced enzyme treatment in the series.
Although this is designed as a three-phase progression, your skin decides how quickly we move forward. If we don’t think you’re ready for the next phase, we’re not going to increase the treatment simply because it’s your next appointment.
What Happens During Each Appointment?
Each 20-minute resurfacing treatment is intentionally focused on the skin rather than being structured like one of our longer, relaxation-based facials.
We begin by thoroughly cleansing your skin with Vitamin Veil Cleanser and Lipid Replacing Cleansing Gel.
Your appropriate enzyme phase — Cocoa, Raspberry or Citrus — is then combined with our professional Enzyme Activator and applied based on where you are in the series and how your skin has responded to previous treatments.
After resurfacing, we calm and support the skin with Aloe & Calendula Calming Mist and Vitamin C Reversal Serum.
We finish with Post Peel Balm and Light Day Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 37 to hydrate and protect your freshly exfoliated skin.
Who Is Progressive Resurfacing Good For?
This series is a great option if you’re looking to improve the appearance of dullness, rough or uneven texture, surface buildup or a lackluster complexion.
But we also use progressive resurfacing for another important reason: preparing the skin for more advanced treatments.
If your skin is sensitive or reactive, if you’re new to professional exfoliation, or if we’re simply not confident that your skin is ready for something like a chemical peel or microdermabrasion, this series gives us a much more conservative starting point.
Rather than finding out your skin wasn’t ready after we’ve already performed the stronger treatment, we’d rather build its tolerance progressively.
No Traditional Peel Downtime

Because we’re progressively exfoliating your skin, what you do between treatments matters.
We may recommend our Post Peel Kit to support your skin throughout the series or keep things simple with Post Peel Balm, depending on what your skin needs.
Daily Broad Spectrum SPF is also important whenever professional exfoliation is part of your skincare routine.
