A lot of spas offer a generic “Gentlemen’s Facial” that amounts to little more than putting men’s packaging around a basic facial.
That’s not what we’re interested in doing.

Our Gentlemen’s Facial at Clearwater Facial Spa is designed for all skin types and makes a great routine maintenance treatment for men who want cleaner pores, smoother skin and a straightforward approach to professional skincare.
Let’s Start With What’s Actually Going On With Your Skin
Men don’t all have the same skin concerns simply because they’re men.
Some guys come in because their skin is constantly dry and flaky. Others are starting to notice larger pores, blackheads and congestion. You may be dealing with active breakouts or trying to improve the appearance of the marks and uneven texture left behind from years of acne.
And plenty of our clients don’t have a specific “problem” at all. They just want their skin cleaned up and maintained.
That’s why we’d rather look at your skin than give every man who walks through the door the exact same treatment.
A Deep Clean + Exfoliation + Extractions
We begin with a thorough double cleanse using Vitamin Veil Cleanser and Micro-Exfoliating Honey Cleanser to remove oil, sunscreen, sweat and everyday buildup.
Next, we use our Cocoa Enzyme Set for gentle exfoliation. This helps loosen accumulated dead skin cells and prepares congested pores for extractions.
If you have blackheads or clogged pores, we’ll perform extractions where they’re appropriate and use Spot Stop on areas that need a little additional attention.
From there, we customize the treatment based on what your skin is showing us.
If your skin needs antioxidant and brightening support, we may use Vitamin C Reversal Serum. If you’re dealing with dryness or dehydration, we’ll reach for Hydralox instead.
We finish with our Green Tea Mask and Aloe Calendula Mist, followed by Light Day Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 37 before you leave.
Dry, Flaky Skin?
If your face feels tight, rough or flaky — especially around facial hair or after shaving — we’ll put more of the focus on hydration.
Removing accumulated surface buildup can help improve the feel and appearance of rough skin, while products like Hydralox allow us to replenish some of the moisture your skin is missing.
You don’t necessarily need ten skincare products at home either. Sometimes getting the basics right makes the biggest difference.
Blackheads, Large Pores & Breakouts?
If clogged pores are your main complaint, we’ll spend more time on extractions and congestion.
Regular professional cleansing and exfoliation can help keep buildup from getting out of control, particularly if you sweat frequently, work outdoors, play sports or naturally produce more oil.
If you’re dealing with more significant acne rather than occasional breakouts, we may recommend moving you into our Deep Cleansing & Clarifying Acne Facial instead.
The Gentlemen’s Facial is excellent for maintenance and mild congestion. More significant acne deserves a more targeted treatment plan.
What About Acne Scarring & Dark Marks?
If active acne isn’t the problem anymore but you’re still seeing the evidence it left behind, let us know.
Depending on whether you’re dealing with post-acne discoloration, uneven texture or true acne scarring, we may recommend incorporating other treatments into your skincare plan.
That could eventually include our Hyperpigmentation Brightening Facial, Progressive Enzyme Resurfacing Series, Hydrating Lactic Acid Peel or Microdermabrasion, depending on what we’re actually seeing in your skin.
Not every mark left behind by acne is the same, so we’d rather identify what you’re dealing with before recommending a treatment.
You Don’t Need to Become a Skincare Expert
If your current skincare routine consists of whatever soap happens to be in the shower, we’re not judging you.
We also aren’t going to hand you a twelve-step routine and expect you to suddenly become obsessed with skincare.
For routine home care, we may recommend keeping things simple with Micro-Exfoliating Honey Cleanser, Vitamin C Reversal Serum and Broad Spectrum SPF 37.
Cleanse consistently. Give your skin some antioxidant support. Protect it from the Florida sun.
