Our 60-minute Oxygen Rx Facial is an advanced treatment that uses a controlled oxygen delivery system to work with several different skin concerns at once. It’s especially beneficial for visible capillaries (telangiectasia), acne-prone skin, rosacea-prone skin and dull or sluggish-looking skin, but we also use Oxygen Rx alongside some of our acne and anti-aging treatments to give the skin additional support.
The treatment helps brighten the complexion, support circulation and cellular activity, and leave the skin looking fresher and more revitalized — without needing an aggressive treatment to get there.
So, What Exactly Is an Oxygen Rx Treatment?
Our Oxygen Rx System creates a controlled oxygen-rich environment at the surface of the skin. This gives us a versatile treatment that can be used on its own or incorporated into a larger skincare plan.
That’s one of the reasons you’ll see Oxygen Rx show up in several places at Clearwater Facial Spa.
We recommend it for clients with telangiectasia or visible facial capillaries, and we may use Oxygen Rx before beginning a more targeted rosacea and redness treatment plan.
It’s also incorporated into our Deep Cleansing & Clarifying Facial for clients dealing with more significant acne and congestion, and it can be paired with our anti-aging facials when the skin could benefit from additional brightening and revitalization.
In other words, Oxygen Rx isn’t necessarily a treatment we use for just one problem. It’s often a useful stepping stone or addition to the bigger picture of what we’re trying to accomplish with your skin.
What Your Oxygen Rx Facial Looks Like
We begin by thoroughly cleansing your skin with Vitamin Veil Cleanser and Lipid Replacing Cleansing Gel.
From there, we use our Cocoa Enzyme Mask to gently prepare and exfoliate the skin before moving into the Oxygen Rx System itself.
Once the oxygen treatment is complete, we shift our focus toward calming, hydration and antioxidant support with Aloe & Calendula Calming Mist, Emergency Eye Lift and Vitamin C Reversal Serum.
We finish with Post Peel Balm to support the skin and Light Day Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 37 for UVA, UVB and blue-light protection.
The entire treatment takes approximately 60 minutes.
Who Do We Recommend Oxygen Rx For?
Oxygen Rx is one of our more versatile facial treatments.
It’s especially useful for clients dealing with visible facial blood vessels, telangiectasia, redness-prone or rosacea-prone skin, acne and congestion, dullness or a sluggish-looking complexion.
It may also be recommended when we want to prepare your skin before beginning another treatment series or enhance what we’re already doing with your acne or anti-aging regimen.

Oxygen Rx + Rosacea & Visible Capillaries
If you’re dealing with rosacea, persistent redness or visible/broken facial capillaries, we may recommend beginning with Oxygen Rx before moving into your regular redness-focused treatments.
This gives us an opportunity to start working with your skin using a treatment specifically selected for redness-prone and vascular concerns before deciding what should come next.

Oxygen Rx + Acne
Oxygen Rx also plays an important role in how we work with acne-prone and congested skin.
We incorporate the Oxygen Rx treatment into our Deep Cleansing & Clarifying Facial, which is designed for clients with more significant blackheads, pimples and clogged pores.
If acne is your primary concern, you may not need to book Oxygen Rx separately. We can help you determine whether the standalone treatment or our more comprehensive acne facial makes more sense based on the amount of congestion you’re dealing with.
How Often Should You Have an Oxygen Facial?
As a standalone treatment, we generally recommend Oxygen Rx approximately once per month.
It can also be incorporated alongside other treatments when we believe it will complement what we’re already doing for your skin.
There isn’t a reason to do more treatments simply for the sake of doing more treatments. We’ll recommend a schedule based on your skin, your primary concerns and the results we’re trying to achieve.
Keep Supporting Your Skin at Home
For home care, we may recommend double cleansing with Vitamin Veil Cleanser and Micro-Exfoliating Honey Cleanser to keep the skin clean without unnecessarily stripping it.
At night, Vitamin C Reversal Serum or MeriStem Serum may be applied underneath Post Peel Balm for additional antioxidant, hydration and skin-supporting care.
And during the day, we recommend Light Day Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 37 for daily UVA, UVB and blue-light protection.
