Our Radio Frequency Anti-Aging Facial is designed for clients who want to improve the appearance of skin tone, texture and firmness without the peeling or downtime associated with more aggressive resurfacing treatments.
Radio frequency uses controlled energy to gently warm the deeper layers of the skin, creating an immediate collagen contraction while stimulating continued collagen production for approximately 2–12 weeks following treatment. We pair RF with hyaluronic acid, peptides, antioxidants and professional skincare to give aging skin a little extra support while keeping the experience relaxing.
Choose between our Mini Radio Frequency Facial for a targeted face-only treatment or our Full Radio Frequency Facial when you want to extend the treatment to the face, neck and décolleté.
A Different Approach to Anti-Aging
Not every anti-aging treatment needs to involve aggressive exfoliation or a chemical peel. Radio frequency gives us another way to work on the appearance of firmness, texture and skin tone using controlled heat.
We begin by thoroughly cleansing and preparing your skin before applying Hyaluronic Acid during the radio frequency treatment. From there, we incorporate professional antioxidant, peptide, hydrating and firming skincare, including our Australian Super Berry Antioxidant Mask, Firming Peptide Mask, MeriStem Serum, Emergency Eye Lift and Phito-Pep 1.6.
Your treatment finishes with Light Day Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 37 to protect your skin before you leave.
There is no peeling or scarring associated with the treatment, making RF a great option for the right client who wants to work on aging skin without the recovery associated with a peel.
Mini or Full — How Much Do You Want to Treat?
Our Mini Radio Frequency Facial focuses entirely on the face. You’ll receive approximately 5 minutes of radio frequency with Hyaluronic Acid, along with a 90-second Fascia-Release Facial Massage and our brightening Australian Super Berry Mask.
We also include a 10-minute neck and scalp massage, so even though this is our shorter treatment, you still get time to relax while we’re working on your skin.
The Full Radio Frequency Facial takes everything a step further. Instead of treating only the face, we extend the treatment to the face, neck and décolleté and increase the RF portion to approximately 10 minutes.
You’ll also receive a 3-minute Fascia-Release Facial Massage, 10-minute neck and scalp massage and 10-minute hand and arm massage, along with the brightening Australian Super Berry Mask.
If you’re primarily interested in treating your face or want to try RF without committing to the longer facial, the Mini is a great place to start. If aging through the neck and décolleté is also a concern — or you simply want the complete treatment and more massage — go with the Full.
What Can Radio Frequency Do for Your Skin?
Radio frequency is focused on improving the appearance of skin firmness, tone and texture.
The controlled heat creates an immediate contraction of existing collagen, while also stimulating the skin’s collagen-production process for approximately 2–12 weeks following treatment.
That means the goal isn’t just how your skin looks when you walk out the door. Some of the processes we’re trying to encourage continue after your appointment.
For clients who are a good candidate, RF can also become part of an ongoing anti-aging skincare routine rather than being treated as a one-time quick fix.
RF Isn’t the Right Treatment for Everyone
Radio frequency stimulates circulation and creates mild, controlled inflammation, which means we’re careful about who receives this treatment.
We do not recommend RF for clients with rosacea, significant redness or irritation, noticeable capillaries, hyperpigmentation, Grade 3 or higher acne, diabetes, pacemakers or severely sagging skin.
We’re also cautious with clients who have very little facial fat or moderate skin sagging. Frequent or overly aggressive radio frequency treatments have the potential to affect facial fat, which could make existing sagging or facial hollowing more noticeable.
This is also why we don’t believe that turning the machine all the way up automatically gives you a better treatment. We never exceed half power and may use considerably lower settings depending on your skin and facial structure.
If RF isn’t the right choice for you, that’s okay. We’ll help you choose another anti-aging facial that makes more sense for your skin.
Taking Care of Your Skin at Home
Professional treatments can only do so much if we ignore what happens to your skin during the other 23 hours of the day.
For clients receiving RF, we may recommend MyoCyte Plus Anti-Wrinkle Serum and Nighttime Repair Plus, along with double cleansing twice daily using Vitamin Veil Cleanser and Almondola Cleanser.
Consistent use of Broad Spectrum SPF 37 is especially important, and Full Circle Eye Repair may be recommended if the eye area is one of your concerns.
